The Borsbeek Skatepark, De Skate K8, is located in the historic Fort 3 of Borsbeek, in Antwerp, Belgium.
This project transforms an old hangar from a 19th-century military site into a covered skatepark, integrated within its original architecture. Thanks to this, the space can be used even in rainy or snowy weather. The design is aimed at accommodating all levels, with a particular focus on beginners. A compact layout with various options, featuring both street and ramp elements as well as a small bowl, makes this skatepark a fun and well-utilized space.
